Replication Introduction
Jobs and subjobs are set up in the Scheduler and define what data should be replicated. Distribution locations are used to define the source and destination of data. Multiple database designs can be imported to allow mapping between different database designs. Jobs can be manually started or scheduled to start at specific times.
The Scheduler is used to set up replication jobs used by the Data Director. The user interface of the Scheduler resides within the LS Retail Site Manager so that no installation of Dynamics NAV or Dynamics AX is required to set up replication jobs. The back-end or server part of the Scheduler is installed and controlled by the Data Director service manager.
