Site Service Parameters in Administrative Options

The Site Manager, just as the POS, needs a connection to the Site service to be able to display the correct information such as the gift cards and their balance and the inventory status of all stores. Therefore we need to assign a Site Service profile to the Site Manager. This is done in Administrative options.

Assign a Site Service profile to the Site Manager:

  1. In the Site Manager go to Tools > Administration >Options.
  2. Select tab Site service.
  3. Choose the Site service profile.
  4. Then you will see the host name and port number from the selected profile.
  5. Test the connection.

 

Button Test Connection tests the connection for the Site Service with the installed Site service. We recommend that you perform this task after the connection parameters have been set up.
