A cash register shall be able to produce cash receipts and reports for each registration unit with a statement of registrations during a day of sales and continuous use (Z daily report) and a statement of the registrations since the last Z daily report (the X daily report). The cash receipt, Z daily report and the X daily report shall fulfill the requirements stipulated in these regulations |
The LS One POS can print a Z daily report containing all registrations/transactions since the last Z report was run. Running the Z reports resets the report for the next day. § 3 | A cash register program shall be furnished with a version number. |
The version number of the LS One POS is always visible in the status bar of the application.

§ 4 | In the case of cash register programs installed in a cash register, there must be functionality to be able to read the cash register software's version number and the manufacturer of the program in clear text |

§ 5 | A cash register may not be connected to or form part of the equipment or software that affects the functions indicated in these regulations in a manner that is not permitted |
A user is not able to change the functionality of the LS One POS by connecting a device or software to the cash register. A user cannot modify the LS One POS software that has been installed on the cash register. | |
§ 6 |
A cash register shall be provided with a model name and a serial number. The model name shall contain the designation "SE". If a cash register program is not locked to a certain physical unit, it is the cash register program that must be provided with a unique serial number. |

§ 7 | Each registration unit shall be notified to the Swedish Tax Agency in accordance with chapter 7, § 3(2011:1244) of the Tax Procedure Act as a separate cash register. Each registration unit shall have a unique serial number in accordance with § 22. |

§ 8 | If a cash register has a function for the pricing of goods or services, it shall be possible to obtain information on current prices from the cash register. The control strip or log memory shall indicate when price information has been changed. |
The LS One POS does have the price information for the goods and services to be sold this information can be viewed by doing a price check. If the Price override operation is used to change the price of the product this is audited in the terminal audit log and listed in the journal log. | |
§ 9 | A cash register with a control unit shall only be able to register sales amounts if the connected control unit is operation and generates a control code the cash register receives. A cash register with a control system shall only be able to register sales amount if it has functioning communication with its buffering program. The information a cash register sends to or receives from a control unit or buffering program shall be registered in the cash register. |
If the LS One POS cannot connect to the control unit it is not possible to complete a sale at the POS. And if the POS loses connection to the control unit in the middle of a transaction it is not possible to finalize the transaction until the control unit has been reconnected. If the control unit looses connection during operating the POS the following message is displayed and no sales completed:
And if you try to run the Swedish version without connecting the control unit you will receive the following message and not be able to complete any sale

§ 10 | Sales and other continuous usage shall be registered in the cash register or each registration unit and other continuous use in paper form (control strip) or electronic form (log memory) |
The journal log or log memory lists all operations run on the POS and saves all printed receipts and reports. This log can either be printed or saved to a file for a specific day period.
Also all sales are registered to the transaction log. The transaction log is viewable in the daily journal in the POS and in the sales receipt list in the backoffice application, the Site Manager. |

§ 11 | A cash register shall have a practice function only if this is stated in the cash register documentation and if use of the practice function is registered in the cash register. |
The POS can be put into training mode. Read further about POS in training mode here When the POS is in training mode the following applies:
The POS login is marked "Training mode" The receipt is also marked Training mode and does not contain the payment information |

§ 12 | A cash register program must not have any other functions than those stipulated in its documentation. The documentation shall be written in Swedish or English and accompany the cash register on delivery. |

Obligatory functions

In LS One there are operations to declare the start amount of the cash drawer, to do transfer of petty cash to the safe or the bank and to add additional petty cash during the day. All these petty cash transfers are registered in the LS One POS and will be listed on the Z report and X report. | |
§ 2 | A cash register shall be able to register different kinds of means of payment. |
LS One POS can register different kinds of means of payments, cash, cards and currencies to name a few. Each payment type is listed in the customer receipt, all financial reports and X and Z reports. | |
§ 3 | If a cash register can handle more than 1 company’s registrations, it shall have a function that shows which companies it is handling. ... |
LS One only handles registrations for one company. | |
§ 4 | It shall be possible to obtain from a cash register current information on programming and settings in line with the requirements regarding processing history according to Chapter 5, § 11 of the Swedish Accounting Act (1999:1078) |
All settings for the POS terminal are done in the back office system, the Site Manager. In the Site Manager all changes are audited and can be viewed in an audit log. The Site Manager also the ability to view all audited operations from the POS terminals. | |
§ 5 | If a cash register has a function for printing receipt copies, practice receipts or pro-forma receipts, these shall be clearly marked with the words copy, practice or no receipt. It shall not be possible to alter the identifying text if it is to be at least twice as big as the text that indicates the amount. |
After following the receipt setup instructions the receipt copies are clearly marked as copies, pro-forma receipts and training receipts are also clearly marked. |

§ 6 | A cash register designed to be used with a control system shall be able to receive and send information that the control system´s buffering program sends or requests from the cash register. A cash register may send information required to the buffering program. |
The LS One POS Swedish version will not work if the control unit has been disconnected. The POS checks the connection when logging in and again when finalizing a transaction. | |
§ 7 | A cash register program shall be able to send the receipt data a control unit or control system requires. Receipt data amounts shall be in Swedish kronor and öre (100 öre = 1 krona). |
The receipts always print all amounts in the store currency. |
Non-permitted functions

§ 1 | A cash register shall not have functions that enable a user to remove, alter or add information to registrations that have already been made. |
A transaction that has been finalized in the POS cannot be voided or changed in any way in the LS One POS or the back office application, the Site Manager. | |
§ 2 | A cash register must not be designed in such a way that it is possible to register sales amounts without the cash register printing out a cash receipt at the same time in paper format or producing and sending an electronic cash receipt. |
The LS One cannot finalize a transaction if the receipt cannot be printed. If the receipt is sent electronically and the email sending fails for some reason the email will be resent at a later stage. If the POS has lost connection to the printer or there is any other failure causing the receipt not to be printed the POS will not finalize the transaction.

§ 3 | A cash register shall not be able to print more than 1 copy of a cash receipt |
The Swedish version will stop the user when trying to print more than one copy of any receipt.

§ 4 | A cash register must not have a function that makes it possible to alter pre-programmed text on item and services at registration. |
It is not possible to edit the item description in any way at the LS One POS. |
