Install and configuration steps

Before the data replication can be setup you need to have designed your system and created a topology diagram over machines, database servers and their addresses. For further information on different deployment scenarios read this.

To get the data replication up and running you need to follow these steps:

  1. Install the Data Director, you find a download of all installation files on the LS Retail portal (login required). Follow the installation instructions in the Data Director User guide that comes with the installation file.
  2. Import Replication data
  3. Setup distribution locations
  4. Enable Scheduler back end
  5. Check the Site Manager scheduler setting
